Legal notice
Privacy policy
This notice explains what personal data is collected through this website, for what purpose it is processed, how long it is kept and what rights you have in relation to it.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Mihajlo Savić, Attorney at Law, with his office at Moše Pijade 15/1, 16000 Leskovac, Serbia. Phone: +381 65 886 9274, email: adv.mihajlosavic@gmail.com.
2. What data is collected
The contact form on the website collects the data you enter yourself:
- full name,
- email address,
- phone number (optional),
- the area of law your inquiry concerns,
- the short description of your situation that you enter in the message field.
Please do not enter more information in the message field than is needed for an initial understanding of your inquiry, and in particular do not include data about other people unless it is necessary.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
The data is processed solely to reply to your inquiry and, where applicable, to arrange a consultation. The legal basis for processing is your consent, given by ticking the relevant box in the form, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Sending a message through the form does not automatically create a lawyer-client relationship, nor does it create an obligation to take any legal action.
4. Data retention
The data is kept for as long as is necessary to reply to the inquiry and to keep a reasonable record of the contact. If the inquiry does not lead to an engagement, the data is deleted once there is no longer a need to keep it, unless the law requires it to be kept longer.
5. Confidentiality
The data is not sold, not passed on to third parties for marketing purposes and not used for automated decision-making. The data is accessible to the lawyer and, where necessary, to the persons engaged to maintain the website, to the extent required for its technical operation, as well as to the form-handling service named in section 7.
Information you share with the lawyer as a client is also specially protected by attorney-client privilege (advokatska tajna), in accordance with the regulations governing the legal profession.
6. Your rights
In relation to your data, you have the right to:
- access the data and information about its processing,
- have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed,
- have the data deleted,
- restrict processing and object to processing,
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal,
- lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti).
You can submit a request by phone, by email to adv.mihajlosavic@gmail.com or in person at the office at the address above.
7. Cookies and external services
The website uses only technically necessary cookies, in the form of the browser's local storage, to remember that you have seen the cookie notice. More details are given in the cookie notice.
The map is displayed using embedded content from an external service. When the map is loaded, that service may process technical data about your visit under its own terms.
Messages sent through the contact form are received by an external form-handling service (Formspree), which forwards them to the office email address and keeps a copy on its servers, outside the Republic of Serbia. That service processes the data solely to deliver the message and on the controller's instructions.
If you do not want your inquiry to pass through an external service, please contact the office directly by phone at +381 65 886 9274 or by email at adv.mihajlosavic@gmail.com.
8. Changes to this notice
This notice may be changed as a result of changes in regulations or in the way the website works. The current version is always published on this page.
